Privacy policy

1. Controller

Aldo Caetano da Silva Filho Consultoria em Tecnologia Ltda (CNPJ 61.359.787/0001-77), Lauro de Freitas, Bahia, Brazil, reachable at aldo.caetano@localvision.com.br, is responsible for the data described here. We follow the Brazilian LGPD and, for visitors in the EU/UK, GDPR principles.

2. What stays on your computer

Camera video, recordings, events, the face database and camera credentials are processed and stored only on the computer where Local Vision is installed. We have no access to them. The owner of that installation is the controller of that data.

3. What we receive

• Trial form: email, optional name, profile, OS, camera type and count, and your free-text goal, to send the installer and contact you about the trial.
• Activation and license: your email and a random installation ID, to issue and validate licenses and to recover your password.
• Payments: handled by Paddle.com as Merchant of Record. We receive the installation ID, subscription status and billing dates, never your card details. See Paddle's privacy notice.
• Website analytics: Cloudflare Web Analytics, cookieless and without identifying you.

4. Optional integrations

If you enable Telegram alerts, alert photos and text are sent to Telegram. If you configure an optional external AI analysis, an event image is sent to the provider you chose. Both are off by default.

5. Processors and transfers

Supabase (license database and email relay), Paddle (payments) and Cloudflare (analytics). Data may be processed outside your country under these providers' safeguards.

6. Retention

Trial and license data are kept while your installation is active and up to 5 years afterwards for tax and legal obligations, then deleted.

7. Your rights

You can request access, correction, deletion or portability of your data, or object to processing, by emailing aldo.caetano@localvision.com.br. We reply within 15 days.
